Job Description:

UPS operates an internal body shop that provides collision repair and complete paint and detailing for the UPS fleet. The body shop also completes special projects related to UPS vehicles used for display or public relations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performs collision repair, welding and fabrication in both steel and aluminum
  • Repairs doors, latches, and other trim
  • Sands, preps and paints delivery vehicles
  • Details and applies decals to finished paint jobs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Collision repair
  • Panel replacement
  • Welding and cutting
  • Paint preparation
  • Completes paint and detail process
  • Skilled in welding aluminum and fabrication – Preferred

Requirements:

  • Active driver’s license issued by the state
  • Able to work flexible shifts
  • 18yrs of age or older

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $42.67 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. 

Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.

Pay Range:

For this union-represented posting, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. The starting pay rate for this position starts at $42.67/hr. The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
