Job Description:
The SPL Engineering Analyst improves existing processes and successfully implements new processes or services within the 4-walls operations and the EMEA network, with a focus on innovation and process automation. You generate solid information and enable management decisions related to projects of your team. It’s also your responsibility to help build and upkeep a ‘knowledge center’ for existing processes, initiatives and implementations
What do you do on an average day?
* Development, design and evaluation of the EMEA Service Parts Logistics network from a structural and process point of view with a focus on innovative approaches and process automation.
* Develop initiatives to better meet customer demands while further enhancing revenue and profitability for the organization
* Analyze commercial, operational and financial implications of proposed initiatives
* Prepare, test, execute and monitor approved changes
* Work closely together with all departments involved in the change processes (e.g. operations, IT, Finance, Customer Engagement Management etc.)
What do we expect of you?
* Education: Bachelor or Master, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
* Experience: Ideally 2+ years relevant working experience with Supply Chain Logistics and project management, know-how of process design and information flows.
* Competencies: Strong analytical skills, fluent in English, accurate and able to communicate on different levels in the organization
* Experience with Excel, Visio and being able to quickly understand (new) applications like, WMS/TMS, Smartsheet, Power BI is needed
