UPS GBS (Philippines) Accounts Payable Supervisor

Based in PH - ALABANG GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES - GBS (PHMNT)

Job Summary

The position is in charge of the financial operations majority for south Asia Countries by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting, and auditing, supervising staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in the auditing document & processing of payments to vendors (AP&IAF).
  • Responsible in the monitoring & reviewing of operation process quality and timeless – normal tasks like regular reports/internal & self & external audit/record retention… or ad-hoc tasks.
  • Responsible for achieving operation goals including KPIs especially accuracy/SLA/Compliance Control, including performance review and improvement.
  • Manage for new system/project/policy implementation related Accounts Payable/IAF.
  • Staffing management.
  • Manage process improvement and people career development.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be Accounting or Finance graduate.
  • Must be meticulous and has keen attention to details. Strong written and verbal communication skills; Independent and result oriented.
  • Has a minimum of two years Supervisory experience and demonstrated coaching/mentoring skills well for people development and good management problem solving skills.
  • Has background Financial Statement reporting.
  • Strong planning, organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues and ensure compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple clients.
  • Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action.
  • Understanding of cargo, freight forwarding or transportation business is an advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft skills.  Experience in developing Access database and/or Macro are preferred
