Benefits include full healthcare — medical, dental and vision — after waiting period, 401(k) and more. In addition, there are many career advantages to joining UPS in a warehouse, including money for college at some locations, weekly pay, a relaxed dress code, a team-oriented environment, great growth potential and an emphasis on safety.

A UPS warehouse is a world of conveyor belts and large machinery. It’s a busy hive of activity. Here, you’ll find different teams all working together to help us sort packages and get them on their way to customers as efficiently as possible.

We recommend that you dress in layers so you can adjust to temperature changes throughout the facility and throughout your shift. We’re fairly flexible with what you wear so long as it’s comfortable and practical. Our only rules are no loose-fitting clothes, no shirts, hats or jackets with offensive themes, images or logos, and no loose or long jewelry. Shoes or boots must have sturdy uppers made of leather, man-made leather or similar protective material, provide good support and have non-slip soles. Examples of bad footwear include tennis shoes/sneakers/running shoes, loafers, and sandals.

In a permanent role at UPS, you work year-round in either a part or full-time hourly position with the option sometimes to pick up additional shifts during our busy holiday season.

In a seasonal role, you may work part or full-time hours, but there will be a set end date to your position. You’ll likely be hired only to work during our busy holiday season which is typically from October to December. Hours can vary and some roles may require early morning or midnight shifts. To see if the role you’re interested in is right for you, please read the job description thoroughly!.

Please review the list of acceptable documents and BRING ORIGINALS—copies will not be accepted. You may present one selection from List A or a combination of one selection from List B and one selection from List C.

Check your email to confirm your official start date and for other important information in your welcome letter.

How you get to and from work is up to you. All we ask is that you report for work on time every day and that you have reliable transportation. Most UPS facilities have guard posts to enter and exit the building. Follow all procedures at your facility.
