Job Description:
We are currently seeking Engineering Specialist to join East Europe District Headquarters team in Tuchoměřice close to Prague airport. Join dynamic, experienced team where you can learn, understand and impact global transportation and logistics business through Industrial Engineering.
East District Engineering Specialist ensures increasing efficiency of local operations by using accurate measurements and analysis, has a good control of expenditures and investments, while providing proper planning and keeping the service quality as priority. Engineering Specialist coordinates various Engineering and Operation tasks and projects between East District and local entities.
What are main tasks and responsibilities:
• Daily Reporting, Monitoring and Control of key operations parameters
• Gathering of statistic data, summarizing of information about all operations and feeders
• Analyzing all operational processes and providing recommendations on KPI’s for management
• Implementing Customer’s operational set-ups for UPS Czech Republic
• Troubleshooting operational issues
• Participating in the annual Business Planning process for East District (coordination) and Czech Republic (preparation)
• Coordinating monthly cost performance reviews for the assigned countries within East District
• Coordinating regular reviews for operation planning quality performance (KPIs)
• Coordinating of various project within East District’s countries
• Coordinating engineering tasks for UPS Czech Republic
• Performing various analyses requested by management
• Delivering various trainings to internal customers
• Participating into cross functional projects
What kind of person we are looking for:
• Preferred Engineering Graduate or Business Degree or Equivalent
• Good analytical skills
• Project management skills
• Planning skills
• Communication & Influencing skills
• Flexibility
• Fully autonomous
• Computer skills, VBA is an asset
• English written and spoken
