UPS Capital is currently seeking a Support Services Representative for the Customer Relationship Group. This position is responsible for advanced administrative duties. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced office environment and have strong technology, analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving and time management skills.  The Support Services Representative is responsible for providing timely, efficient and accurate responses/resolution to customer requests for the entire US domestic book of business.  Requests are received via phone and electronic communication.  Resolution may require working internally with the claims site and or field sales.   

 Other Duties

  • Process insurance authorization requests for specialized customers.
  • Provide registration assistance for customer opting into specialty programs.
  • Process insurance policy documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Process insurance modification requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process policy renewal documentation in accordance with internal procedures as well varying state regulations.
  • Process document requests from the claims site.
  • Work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Competencies

  • Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must have strong analytical, oral and written communication, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a time critical environment and manage customer  support challenges.
  • Must have professional office and telephone etiquette.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Georgia Property/Casualty Insurance license is preferred OR the candidate must be willing and able to obtain a license; UPS Capital will pay for the course and testing.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
