As an Account Manager for UPS SCS you strategically convert new business, penetrate territories, and fulfill quotas, with a primary objective to grow and retain profitable revenue. The person analyzes sales reports and transportation trends to identify new customers, growth from existing customers, and shipment reductions. The Account Manager tracks sales opportunities and develops a pipeline of potential customers through strategic relationships. The person promotes cross-functional sales by sharing leads, informing peers on freight services and bundling opportunities, and collaborating on sales proposals.
Responsibilities and Duties
·Compiles weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information
·Analyzes account recaps and monitors revenue trends to develop service recommendations
·Utilizes shipping technology and systems for account activity review and customer database sign-up
·Manages accounts by advising customers on billing processes and resolving inquiries
·Trains customers on use and advantages of web-based shipping and tracking functions

You can contribute with your knowledge and experiences to establish long term relationships with both existing and new customers. ·You have earlier experience in sales from the logistics and-or transportation industry
·You can work independently, are a problem solver and motivate yourself towards set goals
·You are organized and have the ability to prioritize
·You have good skills, both spoken and verbal, in both Swedish and English
·Driver’s license is a must since you will receive a company car in order to visit customers
·Place of work: The UPS center and office is located in Malmö-Sturup. The territory that you cover is all of Skåne.
·Benefits: Fixed monthly salary with a bonus based on results and a company car.
·Term of employment: Permanent contract with a 6 month trial period.
