Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Attend to all customers’ inquiries via the telephone, fax or email, and to respond timely and accurately to their queries.

  • Recognize customers’ problems and resolve them to achieve customers’ satisfaction. Engage the help of other sections if necessary to resolve the problems.

  • Handle customers’ complaints, claims, disputes cases and feedback to supervisors or managers for corrective action. Ensure proper documentation is present for efficient follow up.

  • Ensure maximum sensitivity and responsiveness to all customers’ needs and requirements.

  • Follow-up on orders taken and advise customers on their shipment status and details immediately upon receiving shipment details.

  • Maintain / Update consignee rate / quotation.

  • Send pre-advise to customers and advise them of any freight revisions, if any, so that necessary arrangements could be made.

  • Create and maintain a cordial business relationship with customers, operations and sales staff through regular feedback sessions and communication.

  • Handle triangle or cross-trade shipments smoothly and pass to operations staff for billing once the job has done.

  • Maintain a proper and efficient filing system of all documents for easy and systematic retrieval.

  • Highlight or update any irregularities or problems to supervisors or managers for corrective action.

  • Compile customer monthly statistics and reports.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Freight Forwarding or related fields

  • Prior experience in a Customer Service related or Freight Forwarding related role will be advantageous

  • Demonstrate a customer-oriented attitude

  • Possess proficiency in using Microsoft Office

  • Willing to work in ALPS Ave and on 5.5 days work week
