Are you our next Customer Relations Specialist?
The Solutions Engagement Specialist provides value to customers to gain, retain, and grow UPS’s business across functions (e.g., Supply Chain Solutions, Freight, and Package), by demonstrating solutions to support improving the customers’ bottom line. By engaging with our customers and working closely with the sales team, you will be responsible for gaining, retaining and growing UPS business which will in turn support your monthly KPIs. You will be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a great focus on customer experience.
What you’ll need
- Experience in a customer facing role with strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure,
- University degree in logistics or business administration,
- Business fluent English skills verbal and in writing,
- Ability to initiate and develop relationships both internal and external of the organization,
- Ability to work on own initiative,
- Open-minded to changing targets, result oriented,
- Excellent communicator, including verbal, written and presentation skills. Effective time management, specifically in the areas of planning, organization and project execution skills – proficient in Microsoft office packages with the ability to use project management and presentation,
- Valid drivers license, a Company Car is provided,
- Residence of Istanbul
What you’ll do
- Conduct research to understand the customer’s business (e.g., goals, volume, trends, etc.), to lead discussions on value add solutions.
- Participate in strategy meetings with Sales & Sales management to identify and develop customer opportunities where UPS’s Solutions can be positioned,
- Evaluate customers’ business (e.g., processes, issues, needs, etc.) by Supply Chain Mapping, and propose viable solutions to obtain financial, quality, process improvements, increase cost savings, enhance efficiency, build and strengthen partnerships.
- Prepare customer proposals and presentations to demonstrate the value added by UPS's solutions and grow the business.
- Deliver customer proposals and presentations to propose new ideas, methods and technology for streamlining processes and obtain customers' commitment.
