Senior Systems Programming Analyst

About Systems Programming at UPS Technology:
Our Systems Programmers design and deploy infrastructure to the highest standards. They are highly determined individuals who serve as a subject matter experts for supporting automation tools to increase organizational efficiency. As a UPS Systems Programmer, your skills will be put to the test working with large-scale automation solutions.

About this role:

The Senior Systems Programming Analyst implements changes to the Citrix Infrastructure as necessary to support applications or to create new applications. Create automated installs of all products for Bigfix Distribution. Utilize Windows Design PowerShell Templates for all BigFix Packages. Document updates and Coordinate testing. Coordinate changes with application teams. Evaluate new technology – Process / Product improvement. When there is an opportunity to improve operations at UPS, create Proof of Concept projects to evaluate new solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Citrix
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project Management, Virtual Infrastructure Administration, Tivoli, Virtual Infrastructure Administration and Windows Operating System
  • Familiarity with Technical Analysis, Troubleshooting skills and Project Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
