Work Environment:  Dynamic office environment consisting of Administrative, Business Professional, and Management personnel.

Job Summary:  Review open Repair Orders and Quotations on Aircraft components submitted by UPS repair vendors. Perform updates to Repair Orders and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies associated with component repairs. The goal is to help facilitate the return of the UPS asset back to UPS ASAP.

Job Description:  Process vendor quotes for the repair of unserviceable Aircraft components. Evaluate each quote for fair and economically sound pricing based on historical data, contractual terms, market research, and other available tools. Communicate with the repair vendors on a regular basis regarding component status and action plans for components that have exceeded their expected completion date. Processes part numbers/serial number changes. Assist Quality Control in clearing quarantined parts. Assist Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies. Research sources for the repair of Aircraft components that are not currently assigned to a repair vendor. Direct the disposition of components that have been determined non-repairable by the repair vendor (ex. scrap, scrap locally, return as is).Advise the BP's on components that are Beyond Economic Repair (BER) and create a BER materials request for final review of a replacement component. Weekly conference calls to update stakeholders of component status (ex. estimated ship dates, etc.).

Required Skills:  Knowledge or previous experience in aircraft materials and the component repair cycle. Knowledge of MS Office Applications.

Additional Skills:  Knowledge or previous experience in aircraft materials and the component repair cycle. General Finance and Accounting knowledge.

Interpersonal Skills:  Ability to work in a regulated environment with minimal supervision. Must have great attention to detail and prioritization skills. Must be able to clearly communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to interact and work with Administrative, Business Professionals and Management on a daily basis. Able to make quick decisions and adjust plans under operational pressure.
