Job Description:
Job Summary
The assistant manager leads operations at a brokerage site. He/she executes operations plans, monitors and communicates operation's performance, manage operations to meet customer deadlines, and maintains a close relationship with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and Develops Others
- Conducts service and productivity reviews
- Supervises the brokerage financial management process.
- Conducts self audits and prepares corrective action plans accordingly
- Conducts and provides guidance for root cause analyses on service improvements to develop corrective action plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
- Proven analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skills
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, if necessary)
- Strong knowledge of Customs and Border Protection Regulation
- Customs Brokers License - Preferred
