Job Description:

The successful candidate will develop solutions relating to customer’s supply chain and will develop recommendations to support customers’ strategic decisions. They will create customized supply chain solutions for UPS customers and generate consulting revenues. They will strengthen customer relationships by enabling UPS to be a single source provider of transportation and supply chain related needs. This position manages various types of supply chain and distribution analysis projects, provides subject matter expertise.

Your Responsibilities

• Develops project plans based on customer feedback and assigns tasks to resources to ensure project are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Reviews documents to create work orders outlining solutions to be developed, associated tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be provided.
• Forwards project documents to stakeholders to obtain agreement on costs and resources. Identifies and works with all affected groups and functions to manage project impact.
• Researches and evaluates industry trends and best practices.
• Provides support by developing training materials for related groups.
• Reports on project status, field resource activity, and training initiatives

What you’ll need

• Experience in a customer facing role with strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure,
• University degree in Logistics, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
• Business fluent English skills verbal and in writing
• Ability to initiate and develop relationships both internal and external of the organization,
• Ability to work on own initiative,
• Open-minded to changing targets, result oriented,
• Excellent communicator, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Effective time management,
• Proficient in Microsoft office packages with the ability to use project management and presentation,
• Experience in database development and analysis - Preferred
• Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry – Preferred
• •Experience using Service Mapping applications such as ESRI and/or GIS - Preferred •Experience using Supply Chain Logistics modelling applications such as Logic Net Plus or I-2 Strategist - Preferred
