Inside Sales Manager

The overall responsibility of this position is to lead inside sales team achieving sales goal through functional communications with Region, District and Areas. Inside Sales Manager manages inside sales team to increase sales opportunities and customer relations resulting in increased volume and revenue for this segment. This position is ultimately responsible for meeting customers’ transportation needs as well as business plan results for approximately 25,000 active accounts  78million US dollars equivalent to  6% of 2015 total Sales Plan( net gross revenue). This position is responsible for managing inside sales performance, coaching Inside Sales Supervisors, identifying business opportunities and losses, and positioning and explaining the group’s strategic direction. The Inside Sales Supervisors report to the Inside Sales Manager.


Job Duty


1) Work closely with SP&P (sales planning and performance) team to set up clear sales goal and review+A20:E28A11    
with Inside Sales Supervisor (ISS) to improve sales process and identify areas for improvement;    
2) Coordinate with region and district  DOS / Distirct Marketing to review and develop appropriate inside sales     
pricing strategy and sales leads generation programs;    
3) Set clear coaching & performance management requirements on Inside Sales Supervisors to drive the best sales    
behaviours, provide feedback to ISS on sales coaching skills and identify areas for improvement;    
4) Set up clear goal for ISE on daily Calls Per Day (CPD) and Customer Related Time (CRT) per call;     
5) Review weekly SP&P and BIA (business information analysis) performance results with ISS and highlight areas     
for improvement;    
6) Work closely with region and district Business Development (BD) training team on ISE training programs;    
7) Facilitate timely communications with cross function partners for service handling improvement;    
8) Develop a winning team through recruiting great talented supervisors, training on products and knowledge,     
coaching on selling skills and strategies, and get them fit in the position;    
9) Ensure to achieve sales force efficiency goal and maximize business growth and customer retention;    
10) Drive the best sales behaviour to provide customer with technology resolutions and improve customer loyalty;    
11) Motiviate the whole team and provide individual and group recognition;    
12) Advise ISS and individual inside sales on their career development, identify training opportunities for them.
