Job Title:  Package Manipulation & Sortation Admin

Work Environment:  Work in an office setting. Work with other administrative employees for part of scheduled shift and independently as well.

Job Summary:  Admin will monitor package sortation, perform any package manipulations requested, communicate with CBP nightly for inspecting shipments and update an excel spreadsheet nightly after running an access tool to pull information.

Job Description:  Responsibility will be placed on the admin to tend to all of the requests that are sent by Customs and Border Protection to flag particular shipments for inspects. Requests from customers and customer representatives will be sent via email nightly for upgrading shipments in the systems for EAM, Saturday and various other service levels. These will have to be completed and monitored for sortation to the proper outbound belt. The same requests for address corrections on International shipments will be sent via email and these need to be flagged and corrected in the system to ensure that they sort to the physical location where they will be corrected. A large excel sheet of general order (G.O) shipments will be updated nightly following the running of an Access tool to generate the report which will be used for the excel spreadsheet.

Required Skills:  Organizational and multi-tasking skills will be required to obtain this position. Communication skills with outside UPS sources as well as customers are going to play a very important role in night to night operations. A knowledge of how to navigate Outlook and excel are crucial to the job functions. OPSYS, ETT, ISPSYS, and HubCAM experience HIGHLY recommended for this position. If these systems are not previously known to hiring into the position, then the ability to learn new programs and familiarize quickly is very important for the success of the position.

Additional Skills: Knowledge of OPSYS, ISPSYS, ETT and HubCam would be helpful.

Interpersonal Skills:  Must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, and have quality communication skills.

Additional Notes:  Microsoft office skills preferred
