Shift Hours:11 PM to 8 AM

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about technology and customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Technology Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing deployment and support services for UPS-approved technology products. In this dynamic position, you'll engage with both internal and external customers while maintaining UPS's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.

You will be responsible for conducting hardware and software planning, managing network administration, and delivering technical advice and training to users. Your role will involve organizing and coordinating activities related to the installation, deployment, and upgrading of software, hardware, and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
A critical aspect of the job is troubleshooting technology-related issues and collaborating with teams to develop standardized practices for restoring technical services.

You’ll also be involved in executing implementations, facilitating program activities, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with UPS standards across various locations, including UPS facilities, vendor sites, and customer locations. Additionally, you’ll provide support for a variety of communication systems, including landlines, cell phones, smartphones, data lines, HDVC, MOVI conference calls, and Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform integrations and installations of approved technology products.

  • Assist with facility technology management to ensure optimal operation.

  • Fulfill service requests in a timely manner.

  • Interface effectively with customers, teams, and associates.

  • Conduct TSG technical disaster recovery procedures.

  • Address and resolve customer requests and inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • High School / IT degree

  • A+ Certification preferred

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate prefered

  • CCENT Cisco Network Certification prefered
