DAP (Digital Access Program) is an exciting program which "meets prospective UPS customers where they are" by engaging e-commerce firms and integrating UPS technology into their online platforms. By making UPS an integral part of the technologies online sellers are already using to sell, promote, and distribute their goods to consumers, UPS distinguishes itself as the industry leader in e-commerce and becomes the natural "go-to" shipping carrier for web merchants in the U.S. and worldwide. 

The DAP Revenue Strategy Supervisor develops and analyzes profitable revenue growth strategies for the Digital Access Program. He/She consults with internal subject matter experts to identify the best approach to solve business issues and implements innovative solutions. He/She is also responsible for summarizing and communicating the results of the analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops subject matter expertise (SME) on market developments and trends for e-commerce marketplaces, platforms, and multi-carrier shippers
  • Evaluates and summarizes rate strategy analytics to stakeholders
  • Consults with internal subject matter experts across Rates & Pricing, Marketing, Communications, IT, GBS, Billing and legal to develop and support the Digital Access Program
  • Develops KPIs for revenue generating programs to implement within DAP partners
  • Develops analytics to support the DAP rate strategy
  • Creates supporting pricing materials for communication to new & existing DAP partners

Knowledge and Skills

  • Identifies key factors behind basic problems and establishes a path to solve them; proposes approaches to solve more complicated problems
  • Develops, executes, monitors, and adjusts project plans, resources, and implementation strategy to meet the needs of revenue growth strategy
  • Demonstrates database skills using technical programs and UPS internal systems such as DWH, intermediate knowledge of drawing insights from data sets
  • Exhibits a basic understanding of products, services, pricing, and customer facing technology solutions offered by UPS along with their features and business applications within e-commerce, describes general customer profiles targeted by the partner
  • Leverages relationships across the organization to facilitate knowledge sharing/insights and to deliver on business objectives
  • Experience demonstrating advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access) 
  • Experience in marketing, sales and/or solutions with external facing engagement experience – Preferred
  • Master’s Degree or preferred degrees (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
  • Experience with e-commerce marketplaces, platforms, and industry tools – Preferred
  • Fluent English is essential, additional languages are an asset

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience
  • Must have experience conducting analysis
  • Must have experience demonstrating advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access)
