Main Responsibilities & Authority:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with various departments and Head of Functions to identify business opportunities with key focus on profitability and revenue growth
  • Manage a team of 5 across General Ledger, Compliance, AR and AP Functions
  • Support the Finance and Country Managers on ad-hoc responsibilities

Monthly analysis and reporting

  • Month End Closing with emphasis on analytics
  • Internal Reporting for Local and District Management Teams
  • Monthly Financial presentation to the Local Management Teams
  • Balance Sheet reconciliation reviews to ensure accuracy

Annual Reporting Requirements

  • Completing self-audits and implementing corrective actions
  • Managing and completing the Business Planning Process
  • Liaising with external auditors for Annual Statutory Audit

Other Ad hoc responsibilities

  • Managing continual process improvements in the Finance Department
  • Other ad-hoc as required

Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar capacity

  • Staff Management experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Accounting Concepts and applications

  • Independent, results driven Problem Solver

  • Ability to work under pressure, with strict deadlines and can multi-task

  • Accounting Degree (CA or CPA preferred)

  • Strong analytical skills with keen eye for details

  • Intermediate Excel skills (Min: Pivot tables, formulae to assist with data analysis)

  • Good communication and written skills
