Job Description:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for all activities for having the import shipments manifested into the Customs, and must be a backup for other activities.
Responsibilities:
Download the OPSYS level-1 file and upload it to the local SPOC system.
Validate the information on import shipments, reviewing one by one, using corporate systems (OPSYS, IDIS, SPOC).
Classify shipments according to type, as established in the modality of postal traffic and urgent shipments.
Assign tariff item according to what is declared by the sender.
Assign deposits to shipments that go to the formal process
Make currency conversions to USD.
Generate, process and present files in the Muisca customs system, and ensure that cargo consolidation document is obtained - format 1166.
Send and present express manifestos to government entities Ica, Invima
Upload invoices to IDIS
Volume reports and import operational process.
And other activities associated with the position and those that the supervisor considers.
Takes ownership of customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
Operates all equipment, software, and devices and trains others.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma , GED, or International equivalent
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 40+ lbs./18+ kgs.
