Job Summary

The UPS Capital Digital Channel Marketing Manager supports strategic partnerships with our digital, transactional insurance offerings. The incumbent manages ongoing relationship management and identifying opportunities to strengthen the partnership through additional integration and marketing. This position uses negotiation skills and the ability to present value propositions to partners to improve and grow the partnership. The incumbent proactively identifies gaps and problem solves and consults with internal subject matter experts across many functions in support of the partnership. This position summarizes and communicates results of analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

The UPS Capital Digital Channel Marketing Manager develops, manages, and markets UPS solutions to designated audiences. The incumbent participates in the development of the audience marketing strategy and contributes to the development, design, implementation, and management of marketing campaigns. This position provides subject matter expertise for marketing campaigns and manages others within the department.

Responsibilities 

  • Maintains and cultivates existing relationships to understand customer and partner needs over time
  • Develops subject matter expertise (SME) on assigned partners, their business models, strategies and additional opportunities
  • Identifies and leads promotion and demand generation programs with partner and/or within UPS
  • Consults with internal subject matter experts across marketing, communications, IT, Global Business Services (GBS), Billing and Legal to develop and support the partnership
  • Tracks performance and identify future opportunities and priorities
  • Identifies opportunities for integration enhancements, develops value propositions and presents capabilities to partner
  • Monitors and develops metrics to determine the effectiveness of programs and initiatives
  • Participates in development of Digital Access Program (DAP) strategy and program management activities
  • Tracks competitor positions and strategy with partner within ecommerce
  • Presents findings cross functionally to key stakeholders and identifies opportunities to bridge relevant initiatives

Preferences

  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses complex problem-solving skills and excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrates database skills using technical programs, UPS internal systems such as Data Warehouse (DWH) and InfoLib; basic knowledge of drawing insights from data sets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access) 
  • Experience with customer engagements in Marketing, Sales and Solutions
  • Possesses knowledge of UPS
  • Master’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree)
