Job Summary
This position develops, manages, and markets UPS solutions to designated audiences. The incumbent participates in the development of the audience marketing strategy. This role contributes to the development, design, implementation, and management of marketing campaigns. The incumbent provides subject matter expertise for marketing campaigns. This position manages others within the department.
Responsibilities
- Consults with subject matter experts, conducts web-based research, reviews industry-related periodicals to gain insights and enhance knowledge on research methodologies and trends
- Evaluates overall audience performance (e.g., revenue, profit, return-on-investment, etc.) to measure the impact of targeting, marketing plans, and campaigns on audience performance
- Tracks overall audience segment performance to measure impact targeting, marketing plans, and campaigns on overall audience segment performance
- Develops strategically aligned marketing campaigns to improve profit performance of the targeted audience segment
- Manages content, distribution plans, and campaign tactics to ensure alignment with audience strategy and quality standards are met
- Develops resources, financial, quality, and risk plans to determine required resources, to quantify expenditures, to set quality targets, and to identify risks and actions for mitigation
- Establishes and monitors project status metrics, tracks key milestones/costs, and performs quality reviews to ensure project goals/objectives are met
- Provides status updates to senior management to communicate critical issues, challenges, milestones, and successes
- Participates in the business functional requirements process for defining technology development to impact audiences
- Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures

- Demonstrates an understanding of relevant financial measures, revenue and cost drivers; applies financial analysis to recommend solutions that support business objectives
- Establishes and maintains a comprehensive marketplace assessment of customers, competitors, and other relevant market factors; gains new/unique customer insights through data modeling, marketing research, frontline personnel interviews and direct customer engagement
- Synthesizes information/facts to draw supported conclusions/insights; demonstrates logic, rationality, and objectivity in drawing conclusions, defining solution options and decision making
- Identifies the main message in documents; explains the importance of timely/relevant communication and understands different channels available for communication
- Establishes appropriate and well defined marketing objectives and strategies; identifies and evaluates a range of alternative strategies to achieve objectives
- Bachelor’s degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Marketing, Data Science, Economics, Business or related field
- Master’s degree (or internationally comparable degree)
