JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Access Program (DAP) marketing manager develops the program’s infrastructure and strategy outside the US, and guides the onboarding and execution of international expansion of new and existing partners. This position leveraging strong analytical skills to solve problems, build and develop relationships within UPS and its partner organizations, and offer significant contributions to strategy development and execution. This person summarizes and communicates opportunities including key analysis to stakeholders throughout the organizations and manages multiple complex work streams with critical deadlines to drive successful execution of high visibility projects that hold significant impact for both UPS and its partner organization(s).  This position proactively identifies gaps and problem-solves by consulting with internal and external subject matter experts across functions in support of the global expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops comprehensive commercialization strategy and “go-to-market” approaches by understanding the partner onboarding journey
  • Evaluates and creates recommendations for DAP Accelerators in a global context (Access Point program, International Returns, etc.) and implements them to drive differentiation in the market
  • Enhances internal processes for partner prospecting and vetting to target high quality DAP partner candidates and to ensure better visibility across regions
  • Liaises with the International Region teams to support region-specific initiatives that fit local market needs
  • Liaises with the DAP Technology team to conceptualize, develop and deploy tech enhancements and new DAP offerings to improve customer experience
  • Collaborates with internal subject matter experts around the world and across multiple departments to break down geo-specific barriers and launch DAP in new countries 
  • Maintains subject matter expertise of country deployment processes to provide accurate and useful information to internal stakeholders and identify trends and opportunities
  • Analyzes competitor positions and strategy with partners, prospects, and within e-commerce
  • Develops and actively monitors key performance metrics to determine effectiveness of programs and initiatives and synthezises findings to inform future opportunities and priorities
  • Evaluates and summarizes analyses to communicate appropriate information to stakeholders
  • Drives project plans and corresponding strategies from conception to implementation, ensuring the timely execution of deliverables and buy-in of key stakeholders
  • Demonstrates agility and ability to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a diverse array of topics as new program priorities arise
  • Effectively partners with leadership to socialize ideas/programs/projects, solicit feedback, leverage resources, increase awareness, and build consensus

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation development and negotiation capabilities; must be comfortable presenting to varied audiences
  • Proactively identifies key factors behind complex problems and establishes paths to solve them; proposes creative solutions, and investigates and diagnoses anomalies in routine business results
  • Demonstrates an understanding of products, services, and customer-facing technology solutions offered by UPS along with their features and business applications within e-commerce
  • Experience in creating and socializing internal business requirements for IT development
  • Demonstrates database skills using technical programs and UPS internal systems such as Data Warehouse
  • Demonstrates advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access)
Preferences
  • Experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Solutions with external-facing engagement experience 
  • Experience with e-commerce marketplaces, platforms, and industry tools 
  • Master’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree)
