Job Description:

The Experience Strategy Measurement Specialist is responsible for performing weekly and monthly reporting for UPS Visibility solutions (e.g., UPS My Choice). Completes ad-hoc requests by utilizing SQL Server, MS Access, and Excel to collect, manipulate and analyze data from DIAD Information Repository (DIR), Data Warehouse (DWH) and Info Library (Infolib). Runs queries in Data Warehouse and then analyze and sum up data in access and excel. Manages large customer databases and ensure records are accurate and up to date.


  • Analyzes current measurement techniques and offers improvement ideas.
  • Creates and maintains databases.
  • Conducts testing to ensure applications are error-free.
  • Builds and maintains SSIS packages through Visual Studios.
  • Maintains multiple SQL servers (balancing available space, archiving and backing up data).
  • Conducts Customer Analysis by working with others to research stakeholders' and key decision-makers' needs, requirements, and perspectives; describes in general terms customer characteristics, preferences, history, processes and constraints; lists what UPS My Choice features are currently used by customers.


  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of database design principles; identifies users’ requirements and needs with guidance from others; demonstrates a basic understanding of the importance of maintaining and updating databases.
  • Ability to solve problems, identifies and assesses a situation to formulate approach to solutions. Understands effect of recommendations and actions.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree).
  • Experience working with large databases i.e., Access.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse
  • Experience with DIR
  • Experience with SQL server

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions.
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location or willing to relocate yourself.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft SQL server.
