Job Description:

Job Summary

The Industrial Engineering Intern collaborates with a variety of management levels on projects that contribute to the success of the team. This position performs responsibilities related to Industrial Engineering such as improving processes and maximizing efficiency. The intern must also be able to consult and collaborate with other areas of UPS Capital outside of Engineering to understand processes across the business. The internship is project-based, where the majority of time is spent working and improving those projects.

Responsibilities

• Works with external teams to improve processes across the company
• Works in a cross-collaboration agile team environment
• Documenting process design and standardization
• Exposure to asset management, automation, and project management

Preferences

• Illustrates strong written & verbal communication skills
• Possesses complex problem-solving skills, cognitive flexibility and computational thinking
• Demonstrates organization and time management
• Displays ability to work in individual and collaborative settings
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer

• Must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months
