Thank you for your interest in working at UPS! We will typically get back to you within two weeks of your application. If your written application impresses us, we will follow up with a telephone interview and, if appropriate, an in-person interview.

For certain positions, especially in sales and staff departments, a delayed video interview is sometimes conducted as the first step.

Thank you for your interest in working at UPS! We receive a large number of applications every day, so it may sometimes take some time for us to get back to you.

You received the invitation to your interview via email. You can read everything again there. The email also contains the name and contact details of your contact person in our Human Resources department. Please feel free to contact your contact person if you have any scheduling conflicts.

First things first: We treat each other with appreciation, fairness, and respect. We want to get to know you as a person and a future colleague during our initial interview. So our tip: Just be yourself. Stay authentic and impress us with your personality. If we notice that you approach your work with the same enthusiasm as we do, then chances are you're a good fit for us.

And if you do get nervous, remember: If your application hadn't impressed us, we wouldn't have invited you. You've already cleared the first hurdle. To be fully prepared, take another look at your application documents and references, and also take your time to read the job description and general information about working at UPS .

If we (both UPS and you!) are interested in working together after the personal interview, we may invite you to a trial day. This will allow you to get a firsthand impression of what day-to-day work in your new job will look like, especially in the operational area. If the trial day goes well for both parties, we'll move on to the next and final step: signing the contract.

Tracking 50 million shipments a day is no easy task. But with a combination of well-coordinated teams and innovative technology, we succeed. And, of course, with state-of-the-art infrastructure in parcel processing, delivery, and our supply chains. Thanks to the best technology, we always have the right solution for every requirement, for example, our handheld delivery monitoring devices. This way, we always know where our shipments are and whether they have already reached their destination. With over 97,000 such devices, our effectiveness is hard to beat.

Every year, UPS spends more than $1 billion on IT, providing customers with unique tracking options. This is how we set the standard for business around the world. That's logistics. And that's UPS.

We are the global market leader in parcel services and supply chains, operating in over 220 countries and regions—virtually everywhere in the world. We do our best every day for billions of customers around the globe.

As a parcel delivery driver, you are our face to our customers and often an integral part of the neighborhoods you deliver in. People know you and appreciate your work. You treat your customers with friendliness, reliability, and the best service.

As a truck driver, you are the link between our branches. You ensure supplies for delivery and transport the large amounts of shipments entrusted to us every day to their destinations.

As an Account Manager—as we call our field sales representatives—you will work with a team of dedicated colleagues to acquire new customers for UPS and advise them on our service portfolio. With a reputation as good as UPS behind you, all doors are open to you.

In Inside Sales, you'll be responsible for acquiring new customers and advising existing customers on the best product selection. You'll work alongside colleagues from a wide range of departments and regions. From Inside Sales, you can really take off in your sales career.

Our trainee program offers you a turbo-start to your sales career. You'll spend six to eight months intensively familiarizing yourself with our company and participating in training courses at our Sales Academy. After four weeks of intensive training, you'll be assigned your own sales territory and will advise your customers eloquently, confidently, and professionally over the phone. And to ensure everything continues to run smoothly even after the intensive training, you'll benefit from mentoring and excellent support. If you wish, you can move into field sales after successfully completing the program.

In our Master's in Sales program, you'll earn your Master's in Sales Management at our partner university FOM in Neuss or Düsseldorf, part-time, every Friday evening and Saturday. In addition to a drive for success and motivation, you'll also need a bachelor's degree and sales talent. We look forward to training you in new customer acquisition, customer service, and sales strategy.

Yes, that's right! In fact, many managers started out as part-time package sorters or seasonal parcel delivery workers. One even rose to the company's executive board. Our culture of internal promotion and our outstanding training opportunities ensure that unimagined opportunities become reality at UPS. Here, your career can advance without leaving the company.

As an Operations Management Trainee, you'll learn all the tools you need to get started as a supervisor in UPS's parcel operations over 18 months. To ensure you're ready to lead a group of approximately 20 employees in operations upon completion of the program, we'll first familiarize you with our operational processes. This means three weeks on the early shift, four weeks on the late shift, one week in the main transshipment base, and one week in the export department. Afterward, you'll attend driving school for six weeks. Here, you'll upgrade your car license to a 7.5-ton truck license before spending three to four months delivering packages in your own UPS delivery vehicle. No one in our management team has ever been part of the parcel operations team.

In two shadowing phases, you'll then observe a supervisor and a manager's day-to-day operations. This will prepare you precisely for your future target position and, at the very latest, give you the opportunity to make business-relevant decisions yourself and assume responsibility for your team.

Further practical insights are planned in the staff departments. For example, you will spend a few days in the Human Resources department, Sales, or Health & Safety department. In the project phase at the end of the trainee program, you will work on your own projects with other trainees, which you will present to your center and division managers.
