Sales Executive - Business Development (Based in Minato-Ku)

Position Summary

Want to work in a large scale industry where you can see the backbone of how shipping works? UPS is the employer of choice of you! We want an Account Executive to be based in Tokyo where He/She needs to expand business development opportunities by identifying customer needs, developing solutions for customers, obtaining customer commitment, and successfully implementing UPS solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible to achieve sales target and increase market share
  • Actively prospect sales leads and secure potential new clients
  • Develop and nurture strong client contacts and positive relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure successful sales retention by proactively forging strong relationships with clients
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to achieve success and retain existing customer
  • Develop a strategic approach to provide solutions which includes automation to customers

Other Job requirements
  • Independent, self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Aspiring to be a great sales manager
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to liaise with internal stakeholders professionally
  • Intermediate computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
Education and Work Experience
  • Degree holder in logistics, sales and marketing or equivalent is a plus
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or any equivalent industry
