To support our growing business as a long-established leader in global Logistics and Freight Forwarding, we are seeking a passionate, motivated and energetic individual to join our Regional Brokerage Business Development team to gain new customers requiring brokerage, consulting and related UPS value-add managed services. 

As one of United Problem Solvers™, the high-caliber incumbent would,

  • Actively explore sales leads from existing UPS business units and develop new potential customers with the aim of increasing revenue and exceeding sales plan targets.    

  • Professionally service major accounts by facilitating regular customer meetings to address business needs, resolving concerns relating to customs brokerage and positioning relevant and related UPS services and solutions. 

  • Keep customers updated on new products and customized service offerings to meet individual customer needs

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and peers on building enterprise sales strategies and quantified value propositions in regular strategy meetings

  • Collaborate with Collections vendors to ensure smooth billing handling to prevent errors that would impact on customer credit standings

  • Share industry knowledge with customers and colleagues to exchange insights on current market conditions, and to ensure UPS is a trusted advisor on the market

  • Conduct Trade Management Services (TMS) training and development sessions to colleagues and clients to strengthen knowledge

A successful candidate would likely to be,

  • A degree holder, preferably from a Business/Logistics/Trade relevant major

  • Minimum 2 years field sales experience, previously in a sales position with the same industry is highly desirable

  • Knowledge about customs clearance and brokerage is an asset

  • A result-driven self-starter who works with integrity and the ambition to excel in performance

  • Able to hold oneself accountable under a fast-pace business landscape with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time within APAC

  • Customer-focus with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in English, fluent in local language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
