Brokers actively support the completion of customs clearance procedures of UPS of Greece Inc. on behalf of its customers, by providing professional service, in order UPS to be fully compliant with complex customs regulations and adequately to represent its customers at customs authority. Having knowledge of customs laws and regulations they support both businesses and individuals to successfully navigate importing and exporting procedures of customs clearance for goods received and shipped through the UPS of Greece Inc network. Brokers have specialization and practical experience in clearance entry procedures of many categories of goods under different customs regimes, their tariff classification, valuation and assessment of duty and applicable taxes rates for imported goods. They are in contact with customs authorities coordinating multiple parties including other regional organizations They assist importers and exporters for solving any problem arise during the customs clearance of goods ensuring that packages are cleared timely and error free.
Qualifications
- Customs Clearance Certificate and / or Broker License is mandatory
- Previous experience in customs offices as broker or rater (1-2 y)
- Degree in Business Administration /or Finance is desired
- Proven knowledge of MS office and excel and access
- Very good command of English language
- High organizational and communication skills
- Team Spirit, Enthusiasm and Can-do attitude
