The Brokerage Supervisor II supervises the processing of documents in compliance with U.S. Customs and other government regulatory agency requirements. He/She is responsible for managing the workload of hourly staff, developing team goals, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, and training hourly employees on compliance with regulations and requirements. This positions maintains productivity and is well versed on international commerce and transportation industry changes. The Brokerage Supervisor II supervises others.

The Brokerage Supervisor II manages customer relationships for assigned client(s) including oversight of services provided to the client(s), manages and distributes team’s workload, tracks and reports statistics, resolves customer service issues and oversees all aspects of the account.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervises Account Management Process
  • Conducts Exception Reviews
  • Supervises Brokerage Financial Management Process
  • Supervises and develops others

  • Proven analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, if necessary)
  • Strong knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations
  • Available to travel
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
  • Customs Brokers License - Preferred
  • International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred
  • Minimum of two years of general office experience - Preferred
