Job Responsibilities:
Freight Forwarding Pricing
Liaise with Corporate and other international regions to develop and grow the global freight forwarding business by providing the pricing analysis, recommendation and approval
Evaluate pricing requests to ensure information provided is accurate, strategy is sound and all criteria and customer requirements are clearly outlined.
Lead a team of pricing specialist to develop calculations and design criteria for input into analysis and pricing tools
Ensure accuracy as well as logic of the model inputs and outputs and coordinate archiving of repeatable business pricing
Ensure appropriate Pricing MOP and guidelines are being followed
Manage communications with other regions as well as other internal cross-functional partners
Internal Stakeholder Support
Provide analysis on ad hoc requests from Sales, Fields (Country and Districts) and senior leaderships
Work with Finance to conduct post profitability analysis
Maintain pricing history for the future or cross-functional partner reference
Resource development and management
Provide on the job training to the supervisors and non-management within the team
Manage a team of freight forwarding pricing analyst
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (Marketing, Logistics, Economics, Statistics, Pricing and Revenue Management, Business or Finance). Master’s degree holder preferred.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills in data management and statistical models (MS Office Suites, MS Access, MS Excel)
Written and spoken English fluency. Mandarin or other Asian language as a second language so as to interact with Chinese stakeholders..
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Project management skills
Presentation and communication skills
Flexibility to travel overseas
Flexibility to take global conference calls in the early morning or late evening Asia time
Analytical and logical thinking and positive attitude
Adaptable to changes
