Marketing Pricing Analyst (6 months contract)

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Global Core Pricing
    • Process pricing requests forGlobal Core for Small Package
    • Communicate with Sales to get clarification or provide notifications of the pricing decisions
    • Provide competitive pricing as per the Sales & Pricing Strategy determined by the Supervisor for each pricing request and in accordance to the shipping profile and commitment
    • Ensure timely turnaround for all pricing requests and contract renewals
    • Monitor all win/ loss rate of pricing approved and analyze the price level for future pricing adjustment and decision
    • Monitor Market price level and competitors rates movement
    • Ensure that proper Corporate/ Region pricing procedures are implemented and operated
    • Analyze and disseminate strategic information to ensure bid process effectiveness
  • District Pricing
    • Review and approve the bids and accessorial requests from the Districts above their empowerment
    • Communicate with the District and Countries to ensure the proper pricing guidelines are being followed
    • Develop, manage and maintain theco-loader process
  • Revenue Management Committee
    • Support Pricing Supervisors to present at the weekly RMC reviews where the pricing proposals are reviewed and discussed as per MOP guidance
  • Internal Stakeholder Support
    • Support Supervisors and Managers and provide the necessary level of analysis upon requests
    • Take on rotational team e-mail distribution and bid assignment roles
    • Provide analysis on ad hoc requests from Sales, Fields (Country and Districts) and senior leaderships
    • Work with Finance to conduct post profitability analysis
    • Maintain pricing history for the future or cross-functional partner reference

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Display good working knowledge in MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge in MS Access is a plus
  • Possess excellent knowledge of MS Excel from intermediate to advanced formulas and macros
  • Possess 1-2 years of relevant working experience is preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and another Asian language
  • Possess strong coordination skills among various work groups and with different levels
  • Possess good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proactive team player and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Flexibility to do overtime during certain periods of the year
