The Operations Technical Specialist supports the design, implementation, and
management of technology related applications. He/She serves as the liaison between the user groups
and the applications development group. This position generates queries to obtain data for internal
customer requests and analyzes data to ensure the information is accurate and meets customer needs.
Partners Operations to identify system gaps and what can be done to improve productivity
Assist Ops Tech Supervisor on Operations improvement projects from ideation to deployment
Conducts process flow studies, research on R&D initiatives as well as run cost analysis/calculations
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Demonstrate understanding of operational barriers and failures, and identifies/improves designs, methods, processes, and flows through collaboration
Demonstrate ability to work with stakeholders across all levels
Self-driven, enthusiastic, able to work independently with minimal supervision, able to follow-through and willing to do field work
Proficiency in Excel functionalities (Pivot tables, Vlookups, formulas, PowerBI, SharePoint) is required
Availability to work flexible shift hours, including weekends and travel where required -- Role may involve attending night calls, working Operational hours during system deployment/UAT phases
