Summary

The Enterprise Pricing Management Specialist provides support with appeals and pricing requests and reviews appeals for accuracy. This position prepares the bid for approval through the bid analysis utilizing revenue management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Pricing
    • Process pricing requests for Enterprise, Global and Strategic accounts for International Air Freight and Ocean Freight businesses
    • Communicate with Sales to get clarification or provide notifications of the pricing decisions
    • Provide competitive pricing as per the Sales & Pricing Strategy determined by the Supervisor for each pricing request and in accordance to the shipping profile and commitment
    • Ensure timely turnaround for all pricing requests and contract renewals
    • Monitor all win/ loss rate of pricing approved and analyze the price level for future pricing adjustment and decision
    • Monitor Market price level and competitors rates movement
    • Ensure that proper Corporate/ Region pricing procedures are implemented and operated
    • Analyze and disseminate strategic information to ensure bid process effectiveness
  • RFQ (Request for Quotation) Review
    • Support Pricing Supervisors to present at RFQ reviews where the pricing proposals are reviewed and discussed as per MOP guidance
  • Internal Stakeholder Support
    • Support Supervisors and Managers and provide the necessary level of analysis upon requests
    • Take on rotational team e-mail distribution and bid assignment roles
    • Provide analysis on ad hoc requests from Sales, Fields (Country and Districts) and senior leaderships
    • Work with Finance to conduct post profitability analysis
    • Maintain pricing history for the future or cross-functional partner reference

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management or relevant field
  • 1 - 2 years relevant working experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and another Asian language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Access is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel intermediate to advance formulas and macros
  • Strong coordination skills among various work groups and with different levels
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proactive team player and able to work in a fast pace environment
