The Customer Profitability Management (CPM) Management Specialist supports the development of revenue management strategies to ensure the healthy profit growth and yield improvement for business units across the UPS Enterprise.  The incumbent administers revenue management compliance and measurement objectives.  The key roles and responsibilities including:

  • Provide in-depth analysis of Customer Profitability Management and identify the root causes of the customer shipping behavior/characteristics shift that have negative impact to the profitability
  • Conduct analysis for the yield improvement opportunities in other areas including accessorial surcharges, dim divisor and brokerage surcharges 
  • Perform tracking to understand market response on revenue management actions (pricing sensitivity and churn)
  • Support on the peak season strategy planning and execution (target customer identification, database development, repository development and maintenance, surcharge launch and tracking, revenue quality matrix development and maintenance, etc.)
  • Conduct data analytics to support complex Revenue Management analysis of marketing, revenue management and pricing-related initiatives
  • Produce Revenue Management Dashboard and prepare analysis together with presentation deck for regular reviews with senior management
  • Liaison with District/Country RM teams for deep dive for insights related to market, competitors and customers and jointly execute on Revenue Management initiatives
  • Develop and maintain revenue management / pricing database, provide support within the team and to District/Country RM teams on data needed  

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree qualification in Marketing, Finance, Economy or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant working experience from any industry in market/data analyses, revenue management and project management
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel (VLookup, Pivot table), MS PowerPoint, Power BI and MS Access

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and interact well with cross-functions and colleagues in other countries

  • Logical thinking qualities and approach
  • Positive attitude towards a challenging work environment
