The Channel lead for Email, BTL and Content will focus on planning and implementing marketing campaigns for email, as well as take charge of project management for all BTL and external content activities.  He/ she will oversee all aspects from content strategy, planning, creative design, materials production, to copy writing and distribution. He/she ensures that all marketing campaigns are closely aligned with the company’s overall digital and business strategy, and supports key marketing and sales objectives and KPIs.  

The Channel lead is the key coordinator for marketing automation tools (MARKETO) in the region and work with stakeholders to ensure all digital marketing campaigns are strategically developed to optimally leverage MARKETO to drive Account-Based Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Email Marketing Campaigns

  • Lead and support the management of all email marketing campaigns for Asia Pacific region, from content strategy to production and execution
    • Includes conceptualization and production of eDMs, online destination pages e.g. registration pages etc 
  • On occasions work with external agencies, develop creative briefs and coordinate the production of related assets and execution of campaigns
  • Work with in-house designer/ agencies/ Corporate to explore new and innovative ideas to upgrade our email templates/ creative assets for this channel
  • Develop a robust measurement plan based on data-driven insights and diagnostics
  • Provide regular tracking and analysis of performance, devise plans and actionable tactics to optimize channel performance
  • Develop a framework for reporting results to internal stakeholders
  • Track and manage budget for all campaigns on this channel
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices, and apply to UPS where applicable
  • Monitor UPS vs competitor activities on email marketing campaigns

Marketing Automation Tool (MARKETO) Management

  • Act as key coordinator for marketing automation tools (MARKETO) in the region and work with stakeholders to ensure all digital marketing campaigns are strategically developed to optimally leverage MARKETO to drive Account-Based Marketing. 
  • Lead initiatives and manage assets creation that will leverage MARKETO to support lead management, email marketing and mobile marketing
  • Collaborate with Corp stakeholders to ensure full integration of MARKETO with UPS data and technology systems
  • Develop playbook and train stakeholders to optimally leverage MARKETO as a marketing tool to support local activities
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in marketing automation tool, and apply to UPS where applicable

Content and BTL Marketing Communications

  • Oversee the conceptualization, production and timely delivery of content and BTL marketing communications materials to support marketing campaigns and customer communications.
    • Work with subject matter experts in other functions to determine and develop content that align with project objectives
    • Act as consultant to recommend the most appropriate materials/ communications platform to effectively reach target audience and achieve project objectives
    • Work with agency or in-house resources to develop creative and ensure timely delivery of assets
  • Budget management
  • Monitor and track effectiveness of content and marketing communications materials
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices, and apply to UPS where applicable
  • Conduct customer/ stakeholder feedback survey to measure effectiveness of materials, gather learnings and action on areas for improvement

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Communications / Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of Customer Communications and/or Marketing experiences, either in-house or in an agency environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to break down complex briefs and turn them into successful communication pieces
  • Impeccable English writing skills, candidate must be able to develop creative approaches, both in writing and method, to tailor content by audience and channel
  • Possess strong communications (written, verbal and presentation) skills in English
