In-Country Finance Field Support

Primary Location: 94-3, Mullae-ro , Youngdeungpo-gu, Seoul - KR, 07295 Job ID 065240

The Global Freight Forwarding In-Country Finance Field Support mainly engages in supporting a defined operational group and reports to the Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Perform In-country Finance Activities

  • Supports local invoicing and billing activities as occasion demand
  • Supports Internal Audit and Business Process Reviews, and Department self-assessments
  • Check inventory stock
  • Assist key entries for processing Purchase Orders on the Oracle system
  • Manages petty cash deposit and withdrawal, statement for team

Adheres to Internal Financial and Accounting Controls

  • Supports key entries for vendor registration and contract documents uploading
  • Assists in coordinating with other functions to ensure submitted supporting documents are complete
  • Sourcing vendors pertaining to Finance activities and prepare associated documents
  • Acts as compliance coordinator to ensure programs are executed and regulatory risks are addressed
  • Identifies opportunities for revenue recovery and conducts audits to ensure adherence to contract metrics and contract compliance
  • Supports the development and documentation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency in financial processes

Assists with local statutory compliance

  • Supports Key entry for requested vendors’ cost maintenance
  • Checks the status of invoice receipts and requests invoices as necessary
  • Coordinates the signatory of contracts and financial statements
  • Assists in licenses management
  • Supports external audits as occasion demand
  • Participate adhoc financial related tasks for local operation teams

Provides Customer Support and Generate General Financial Reports

  • Distributes financial reports to various departments to meet internal customer needs
  • Supports requests from internal groups (e.g., Air, Ocean.) to provide analysis on various issues (e.g., fixed assets, AR, AP, inter-company charges, etc.)  

Requirements

  • University degree holder
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Analytical, strong in planning and organization, attention to details
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Good written & spoken English
  • Good team player
  • At least 1 year of working experience is preferred
