As Plant Engineering Supervisor you are responsible for successfully leading and managing building construction, mechanical systems implementation and major customer implementation projects. Your area of responsibility is Europe – you will need to travel to locations to meet your engineering teams and to construction sites to manage and supervise construction and installation contractors. You also support with your well-funded knowledge local PE specialists, and give them guidance in project management.

What do you do on an average day?

  • You create feasibility studies with preliminary designs and cost estimates;

  • As Supervisor you assemble Engineering Teams, manage their work and actively participate in the design and planning processes, on location;

  • You ensure that all projects are compliant with applicable Civil Codes and that all necessary permits are obtained and regulatory requirements are fulfilled;

  • The organizing and managing of the Tendering and Contracting processes is also your responsibility;

  • You supervise and manage construction and installation contractors, ensuring that quality and compliance standards are met and schedules are adhered to;

  • Cost controlling, managing of documentations, contracts and invoices is done by you;

  • As PE Supervisor you have contact with both internal and external stakeholders, so you also manage the communication and documentation for both.

What do we expect of you?

  • Education: A minimum of BA in Engineering Sciences like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;

  • Experience: Relevant working experience in engineering;

  • Computer skills: MS office, CAD and Database Knowledge;

  • Knowledge of European Building Codes, Health & Safety Rules, Technical Drawing, and Warehouse/Storage equipment is required;

  • It is important that you have a hands on mentality, are result / service and quality orientated, flexible in working hours and able to travel in Europe when required;

  • Excellent command of the English Language.
