Job Description:

This student Co-op position will be in the IT Finance & Accounting department supporting the Technical Services and Information Security SDG’s. S/he collaborates with IT Financial analysts as well as project managers in order to meet business plan objectives.   The Co-op will be required to assist in budget management as well as complete financial analyses used for key decision making.  This position requires the ability to work well with all finance team members and project team members within IT. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required along with use of productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure TFS and Zoom.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Financial Terms and Practices. Ability to think strategically with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with general accounting practices including Accruals, Cash Flow & Expense, Net Present Value
• Must be able to work 15 - 40 hours per week while school is in session
• The desired Co-Op will be currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, or has graduated from a degreed college/university program within that last 24 months with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Related Discipline
