About this role:
This is a hybrid role. UPS will consider candidates to work from the following I.T. Campus locations: NJ, MD, GA & KY.
The Lead Applications Developer is responsible for directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications in an Agile Scrum development environment. Additionally, you will be expected to provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement, act as a technical mentor and adviser and ensure effective communication between team members, Product Owners and other IT functional areas
The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal. Needs to have experience estimating work and communicating the detail in support of that estimate. Good interpersonal skills and must work well within a team environment. Must be a highly motivated individual that strives to stay current in technology, adhere to standards, and focus on strategic direction for the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Development, .NET and C#, Angular 2 and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Knowledge of Mentoring and Technical Analysis
- Familiarity with Couchbase
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
