UPS is currently seeking a dynamic Engineering Supervisor to impact the organization to develop, implement and deploy approved operational processes and best practices consistently throughout the company. Does this sound like your ideal opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Trains Region and District IE resources in the approved processes and standards for work measurement application and maintain the SCS database
  • Leads consulting opportunities, planning and execution of large project implementations or training initiatives
  • Manages subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure timelines and project deliverables are met 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Reviews costs of various options with an understanding of finance and accounting principles and ability to perform alternative analysis and recommends optimal solutions
  • Documents process review data and formulates revised or improved processes and works with a variety of other departments and coordinates activities within own department
  • Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Projects)
  • Demonstrates Industrial Engineer experience: knowledge of work measurement, methods and procedures and plant (site) layout in a distribution environment - Preferred
  • Knowledge of Access, LeAP Cost Model and Auto CAD - Preferred
