UPS Information Services, a leader in information technology, is currently seeking career-minded individuals to join our team. If you are highly motivated with a degree in Computer Science or related discipline, then UPS is a great place for you to start your career.
The desired skill set of this student Co-Op includes working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design and an understanding of Java, C#, or Python. He/she will be building new services and web pages using java to facilitate communications between applications and creating utilities to support Airline and Ground Transportation Operations. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and a good communicator with good verbal and written communication skills. He/she must also have good organizational skills and must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Numerous positions are available including applications development, quality assurance automation, and business analysis. Option to work remotely from the following locations: KY, GA, NJ, and MD.
Intermediate with one or more of Java / C# / Python Programming
Object Oriented Analysis & Design - Intermediate
Java / .NET Services - Beginner
SQL Language / Programming - Beginner
XML / JSON - Beginner
Able to work 15-20 hours per week while school is in session, and 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
The desired Co-Op will be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program pursuing a Business Degree, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or related discipline, or has graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months with a degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or related discipline.
