Work Environment:  Office.

Job Summary:  Works as a dispatcher & yard controller using TFCS & HFCS as main systems. Must be able to read & understand complex feeder schedules. Dispatch drivers with loads, able to coordinate overflows, & will have to verify drivers hours of service. Must be able to handle Yard Control duties shifting trailers around the yard & on unload during sort with multiple shifters at one time.

Job Description:  Fast paced office inbounding and outbounding drivers on phones with great attention to detail. Must know DOT hours of service. Feeder IVIS timecard system, HFCS and TFCS. Must be able to handle working with FT feeder drivers and other dispatch locations around the country. Required to dispatch loads throughout the country in the feeder network correctly and understand different service levels, time in transit and sort indicators. Must be able to work unsupervised with ability to make quick decisions involving service of loads and driver staffing.

Required Skills:  Must be able to type, use computers, & multi-task without error using lots of numbers. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills and able to read lots of numbers correctly. Must know HFCS, TFCS and have understanding of hub operation. Must be able to work under stressful situations maintaining professional attitude.

Additional Skills:  UPS system knowledge of IVIS, EPTS or FTS a plus.

Interpersonal Skills:  Must be a self-starter who enjoys a challenging work environment. Must be able to handle stress & still think clearly while multi-tasking. Positive attitude & ability to get along with multiple personalities in a small office.
