Summary

The Operations Supervisor position is responsible for supervising all center activities. He/She is accountable for ensuring packages are pick-up and delivered accurately and loaded onto appropriate trailers for movement to next location. This position requires good fellowship with safety compliance, retention and hiring, manages and develop, handling both internal and external customer needs, conducts department planning, solving irregularities, facility management, risk management, vendor contract, and CHSP activity and IDG shipment audit. He/She is required to work from 09:00 am to 18:00 pm for 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge of Outside Service Provider (external vendors) processes, procedures and methods to ensure safety, quality and performance within the operations

  • Uses knowledge of operations tools, equipment and technology to properly and safely pickup and deliver packages/shipments

  • Irregularities follow-up and evaluate group performance

  • Facility and Data Management

  • Vendor contract, training and develop of groups to meet the business requirements

  • IDG shipment/document audit


Requirements


  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field of study.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity (Safety or Industrial Engineering experience) from the Logistics industry. Prior experience and knowledge in dealing with Small Package or Freight Forwarding (Air Freight and Ocean Freight) products and services will be advantageous.

  • At least 5 years of successful people management experience.

  • Candidate must possess valid Driver’s License (manual brake).

  • Possesses excellent verbal and written English communication skills preferred.

  • Great leadership skills with the ability to manage expectations of all stakeholders.

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Require demonstrated skills in MS Office Programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).
