Senior Business System Analyst
Primary Location: Eindhoven, Noord Brabant - NL Job ID 057601 Zip Code 5651 GGAs Senior Business Systems Analyst at UPS you perform functions on highly complex IT Systems used worldwide. As part of a scrum team you work closely together with the business functions, team members and the IT Department. Your primary role would be to analyze, define and gather business needs and translate them into requirements the scrum team can work with. In some cases you’ll also be the Scrum master for the team.
What do you do on an average day?
• You elicit and analysis business needs and requirements for complex business processes and applications.
• Refine the backlog to support the product owner, building focused simple solutions for complex problems; play an active role in the refinement of user stories to ensure user story feasibility, applying business and brokerage knowledge
• Translate regulatory requirements in functional designs, ensuring compliance by design; create and maintain the process flow of the application
• Verifying product quality through integration testing as well as user acceptance testing feedback
• Manages business and technical risk areas and ensures that test plan covers requirements. Prioritizes resolution of defects coming back from QA or UAT
• Perform end-to-end operational optimizations, identify opportunities and deliver recommendations through in-depth analysis.
• Provide innovative ideas and solutions in a dynamic environment

What do we expect of you?
• Education: minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems Management, Business studies or Information technology.
• Experience: 5-8 years as a Business Systems Analyst preferably in an agile environment. Experience working in logistics and knowledge of Brokerage is an advantage.
• Skills: Knowledge/experience in UML, Use Case analysis tools, Business process modeling, Object Oriented Analysis and Design and specification/business writing. Excellent analytical capabilities
• Team player and able to communicate on all levels (cross-functional teams)
• Scrum Certifications from ScrumAlliance.Org or Scrum.Org is an advantage
• Ensuring Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to
• Knowledge on Oracle Database, database schemas and SQL, Foundation in .Net, basic familiarity with C#, XML. Workflow Management Tools such as TFS, JIRA, or equivalent.
