Job Summary:-

This position is responsible for leading the Service & Visibility improvements in all the counties within ISMEA District.

Job Responsibilities:-

Supports Tactical Planning & Reporting

  • Follows best practices to ensure consistent high quality Small Package customer service

  • Develops monthly performance goals to track and evaluate service objectives

  • Analyses performance metrics to ensure service processes & procedures supports business objectives. Gathers performance trend data determine improvement areas & raise expectations where appropriate.

  • Engage Countries IE & Ops teams on action plan development & execution for service & visibility improvements.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to increase efficiencies.

  • Set, review, document and standardize operational processes to ensure consistent & stable value add service delivery to UPS & its customers.

  • Summaries conclusions & creates reports or presentations to communicate finings to internal stakeholders or other management staff.

Administers Operational Excellence Training

  • Provides District support for Quality Improvement Process training.

  • Conducts training to provide accurate operational reports.

  • Serves as a training assistant to support Small Package operational performance.

Provides O.E. Operations Support

  • Maintains & updates Operational Excellence databases to ensure availability of Small Package best practises and service trends.

  • Responds to data analysis requests from the field (i.e. Brokerage, Hub, Network, etc) to locate sources of data issues and problems.

  • Develops weekly service reports to inform on Small Package services levels.

  • Conducts service trend analysis to determine the best practise improvement strategies.

  • Prepares and support on Service & Visibility Executive (Service Committee, ISEC, BPR)

  • Reviews weekly performance results to identify and develop improvement plans.

  • Implements new processes and publishes documentation (e.g. user guides, technical documents, etc) to inform users of changes and how to use the new processes.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Strong analysis skills, ability to extract relevant and reliable information from queried data, capacity to correctly identify and focus on real root causes to be solved.

  • Creative to be able to see possible solutions.

  • Strong communicator, ability to engage the local countries teams and drive improvements.

  • Excellent in Excel, Access, PowerPoint with knowledge of database design principles.

  • Good knowledge of UPS Operational applications.
