This role will be responsible for ensuring inside operation activities including shipment resolutions, front counter and dispatch are completed in line with UPS processes and standards.
- Oversee SRG team for timely resolutions of bad addresses whilst ensuring dispatch with afternoon shuttle as required of resolved packages
Ensure timely resolution of queries within agreed service level by Front counter staff
Review GTS timecards of team for accuracy and amend as required
Manage ERN process and validate that established processes are followed at all times
Ensure effective management of the ERN cage. Hold list should be on display on the cage and reconciled with physical held shipment
On a daily basis reviews the pickup scan file and send follow up emails to team for any discrepancies identified.
Ensure posters on display at Front counter are relevant and in compliance with UPS guidelines
Resolution of missing PODs and exceptions using TPD, TSL files and Tundra report
Complete ULD print out for Afternoon shuttles movements
Monitor and update arrival and logical departure for all day movements from and to DXB Centre
Update WWEF tracker
Ensure the shipper control log is adequately completed and supporting documenting are held within the required period
Review visibility elements on SEAS and highlight areas of concerns requiring improvement whilst following through with it
Update CPM dashboard as per published results
Complete stationery order for the Centre whilst reviewing consumption report for accuracy and highlight any wastage or redundancies identified
Audit all Undeliverable packages on a weekly basis
Ensure all cage access log are reviewed and printed on a weekly basis for display.
Complete monthly abandon process and inform internal stakeholders for approvals.
Complete relevant monthly test e.g. SALT
Work closely with dispatch team on resolutions with SP or customers whilst ensuring pickups are completed within requested timelines when possible
Monitor the hold cage report and follow up with internal functions
Job Specific Qualification & Competencies required:
- College graduate preferred
Previous experiences in managing a team
Ability to work with people
Microsoft office proficiency with Advanced computer literacy in Ms. Excel
Good communication and Analytical skills
Knowledge of UPS Operational systemsdesirable
