Responsibilities:


The Business Development team is a key driver of sales execution and performance across existing and new accounts. As a Major Account Executive, you are the engine room for revenues through the creation and implementation of sales strategies, client engagement and relationship management. You will be responsible for the achievement of sales targets, and ensuring the future success of the business.


Delivering Sales Strategy
  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive plan, taking into account micro and macro-economic factors that impacts customers’ buying cycle

  • Be the driver of Request For Quote (RFQ) / Request For Proposal (RFP) opportunities and ensuring healthy sales pipeline with consistent proposal submissions

Existing Client Growth and New Customer Development

  • Proactively manage and maximize commercial growth of portfolio aligned

  • Promoting the UPS brand, building new networks, and increasing the size of aligned portfolio

Client Engagement
  • Effective client engagement and understanding critical client business models to identify their needs

  • Supply continuous feedback to both internal and external stakeholders through business and performance reviews

Relationship Management
  • Be the face of UPS to the customer and the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders

  • Effective teaming with the relevant Corporate and Regional functions


Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with at least 1 year of experience in a Client-facing or Account Management role. You will have a proven commercial track record in developing clients and establishing a trusted advisor relationship.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively build relationships with people across all levels. A strong command of English is preferred.

  • A highly energetic, driven individual with an implemental and results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems e.g. Salesforce

  • Experience in the Supply Chain, Logistics or Freight Forwarding industries would be an added advantage. Management or trade consultants (without prior sales experience) in Big 4 accounting firms or similar exposure are also encouraged to apply.
