Sr. Marketing Analyst - Mobile Experience Strategy

This position is responsible for supporting the UPS Mobile Strategy & Execution Team as they create a new mobile experience for consumers and small & medium businesses globally. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to collaborate with their teammates, counterparts in Digital Technology, outside vendors, and Senior Leaders. The candidate will also need to work independently to produce deliverables for customer journey work while performing analyses used to assess the performance of the UPS mobile app. The candidate actively participates in data analytics, market research, product management, and assists in the development and execution of marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Leads customer journeys to create an improved user experience for UPS mobile app users.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise of customer technology applications/programs to provide accurate and useful information to internal stakeholders
  • Builds and documents reports used to track and communicate product performance
  • Creates and analyze monthly KPI dashboard to assess variance(s) in performance to plan
  • Gathers and verifies information to respond to routine inquiries from internal stakeholders (e.g., BD, Solutions, Marketing), address issues, and support product positioning
  • Communicates product/program enhancements to stakeholders to facilitate support and integration of enhancements
  • Responds to external and internal customers questions regarding applications/programs, user issues and system testing to support development of application enhancements
  • Gathers customer data from internal sources (e.g., Business Development, Customer Service Centers) for use in data analysis, product strategy, and market research projects
  • Performs competitive, trend, and situational analyses to assist the development of marketing strategy
  • Participates in cross-functional meeting to document the planning, execution, and progress of market research projects
  • Develops and updates marketing content for physical and virtual mediums to ensure information is accurate and up to date

  • Utilizes computer-based analytical and information management tools to perform routine analysis; documents findings and reviews result with others
  • Understands basic financial terminology/concepts such as cash flows, operating profit/loss, and net income; conducts financial analyses
  • Identifies key factors behind basic problems and establishes a path to solve them; investigates and diagnoses anomalies in routine business results
  • Understands products, services, and customer facing technology solutions offered by UPS along with their features/business applications and describes general customer profiles targeted by the company
  • Demonstrates an understanding of competitor’s tactics, product/service offerings, strategies and translates competitor performance into implications for UPS.
