Job Summary 

UPS is seeking a Retirement Administration Admin to support the day-to-day administration and functional responsibilities associated with retirement. The incumbent processes retirement estimates and retirement applications, manages general correspondence and initiates monthly payments for the deferred and active population for all UPS Administered Plans. The Retirement Administration Admin also guides prospective retirees through the retirement process with daily phone correspondence, performs data analysis and researches potential discrepancies in employee records. 

The ideal Retirement Counselor candidate will have production based/call center environment experience and will be comfortable successfully hitting weekly tracked goals. This role will also have research and analytical skills in order to successfully process benefits applications.

Responsibilities

  • Processes retirement applications, estimates and general correspondence associated with active, terminated and deceased populations
  • Initiates benefit payments for participants/beneficiaries
  • Manages administrative processing of benefits
  • Supports and counsels district HR groups and participants through retirement process
  • Researches/Resolves data issues
  • Provides phone counseling to participants/beneficiaries
  • Conducts Data Integrity audits as assigned
  • Manages and maintains electronic files

  • Exhibits strong time management skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Products (Word and Excel)
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role - Preferred
  • Experience using Pension Calculator - Preferred
  • Experience using Workday - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
