The Marketing Junior Data Scientist leverages advanced analytic knowledge and statistical/data mining model to predict customer behavior and segment customer clusters. He/she works with business marketing teams and support to optimize the digital campaigns, analyze the effectiveness of the campaign and estimate the financial impact.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops descriptive and predictive models for customer value estimation and behavior estimation
  • Works with peer marketing team to support digital campaigns and leverage the analysis or advanced models
  • Turns disparate data into coherent audiences based on complex relationships
  • Mines data to build propensity models
  • Mines data to support the analytics team to build out performance measurement
  • Measures the effectiveness of digital campaigns and estimates financial impact
  • Supports digital campaign markets data platform and integration

Knowledge and Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in machine learning/statistical modeling (e.g., classification model, cluster models, etc.)
  • 3+ years' experience in big data or customer data platform environments
  • Deep experience with Python or R
  • Advanced experience in database/table concepts and constructs, including cloud computing environment
  • Deep experience in Hive, Spark, SQL and other big data skills
  • Knowledgeable on digital campaigns, digital audience management and digital marketing concepts
  • Master's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field - Preferred
